Discipleship at the Heart

We are not just teaching students, we are forming lifelong followers of Jesus.

What Discipleship Looks Like at LCA

At Lakeside Christian Academy, discipleship is not a program, it’s our purpose. Inspired by Jesus’ lakeside call in John 21 and the daily rhythm of Deuteronomy 6, we walk with students to help them know Jesus deeply, follow Him faithfully, and impact the world boldly. In a community marked by spiritual intentionality and Christlike diversity, students are shaped to love truth, embrace grace, and live out their faith in everyday life.

Discipleship is woven into the culture, curriculum, and daily life at Lakeside. Here’s how it happens:

Relational Mentorship

Our educators are not just teachers, they’re disciple-makers. Through daily conversations, encouragement, and Christlike example, they invest in students with compassion and conviction.

Daily Spiritual Rhythms

From morning prayer to Scripture memory and gospel-centered conversations, spiritual formation is part of the daily flow. Faith and learning come together to shape both hearts and habits.

“We integrate faith and learning so that students will integrate faith and life.” – Philosophy of Christian Education

Worship Through Weekly Chapel

Weekly chapel brings our community together in Christ-centered worship, student testimonies, and dynamic biblical teaching. It’s a time to be refreshed, challenged, and united.

Biblical Worldview in Every Subject

In every subject, students learn to see the world through God’s truth. We teach them to think critically, ask wise questions, and see learning as worship.

Whole-Person Formation

Our goal is more than academic success, we’re raising disciples. Lakeside students are formed in heart, mind, and soul, prepared to lead with love, courage, and purpose wherever God calls them.
